Compatible Functions for MultiCharts and TradeStation
The MultiWalk Pro Pack is distributed as a ZIP file. A ZIP file is a collection of files and folders that have been bundled together into one, compressed file. Please review these instructions on extracting files from a ZIP file.

One of my 2018 Strategy Factory Club submissions for Crude Oil did exceptionally well for four years. Then, in 2022 it “flatlined”. It didn’t tank, but it didn’t continue to make profit, either.

Kevin Davey’s 2023 ‘Back to School’ Entries and Exits Algo Building Blocks Project
In August 2023 Kevin gave a four day ‘Back to School’ series that covered several topics. Two of the days were dedicated to his research regarding a set of high potential strategy entries and exits. (And, yes, he used MultiWalk for his research!) Rajendra, a fellow SF student, and I collaborated to create a MultiWalk Algo Building Blocks project using those entries and exits.
To install:
- Import the ELD file MULTIWALK KEVIN DAVEY BACK-TO-SCHOOL ALGO BB PROJECT.ELD into TradeStation.
- Import the setup/configuration project file MULTIWALKSETUP KEVIN DAVEY BACK-TO-SCHOOL ALGO BB PROJECT.TXT into a MultiWalk project. Review import instructions to set up this MultiWalk project.
Futures Rollover Tracking App
Florent Cogneaux and I created a Futures Rollover app that is both efficient and lightweight. No more separate charts to update or excessive workspaces to maintain! Just one simple app to notify us of rollover changes. This app has not been released anywhere else and comes as a special bonus to MultiWalk Pro users!
Example Algo Building Blocks Projects 1 & 2
The Pro Pack comes with two Algo Building Blocks projects so that you can get up-and-running right out of the box! Example project #2 includes entries and exits that I use in some of my own strategies. Configure the optimized input parameter settings to suit your own trading style and comfort level and with just one click discover hundreds of possible strategies to trade!
To run the projects, simply import the MultiWalkSetup – MultiWalk Algo Building Blocks Strategy #1 – Example 1.txt or MultiWalkSetup – MultiWalk Algo Building Blocks Strategy #1 – Example 1.txt into MultiWalk. Click here for instructions on importing setup files into MultiWalk.
Compatible Functions for MultiCharts and TradeStation
Most EasyLanguage code will translate well to MultiChart’s PowerLanguage. However, there are several functions that do not. MultiWalk Pro includes many functions to provide a bridge between TradeStation and MultiCharts. Many of these functions are actually faster than their counterparts in TradeStation alone!
In TradeStation, import the file MULTICHARTS FUNCTIONS FOR TRADESTATION.ELD
In MultiCharts, import the file MultiWalk Functions For MultiCharts.pla
